WHAT TYPE OF WORKSHOPS DO WE OFFER?
30 MINUTE ONE – OFF WORKSHOP
Suitable for Nursery, Pre-School & Reception classes. (Up to 15 children)
Covering street dance basics through short exercises throughout the session. Focuses on rhythm, pace, musicality, direction, listening skills and an ability to follow instruction through the power of dance. Additional elements of breakdancing can be added should it suit the children in the session,
1 HOUR ONE – OFF WORKSHOP
Suitable for Reception up to Year 6 (Up to 30 children – at least 2 support staff from you school)
Covering street dance basics through short exercises and a short dance. Focuses on rhythm, pace, direction, musicality, listening skills, following instructions, formations, spatial awareness and much more. Children will learn a simple street dance routine and learn simple break dance moves. Each workshop will be tailored to the age range of the children participating.
1 HOUR WORKSHOPS – 6 WEEKS
Suitable for Reception up to Year 6 (Up to 30 children – at least 2 support staff from you school)
Covering street dance basics through short exercises and learning a full dance throughout the 6 weeks. Children will also focus on different styles of street dance and will have a topic of the week.
Week 1 – Hip-Hop
Week 2 – Breaking
Week 3 – Dancehall
Week 4 – Locking
Week 5 – Focus on main dance routine
Week 6 – Recap all styles, rehearse main dance then perform to their school should they wish to do so.
Focuses on rhythm, pace, direction, listening skills, following instructions, formations, special awareness and much more. Each workshop will be tailored to the age range of the children participating.
HALF DAY ONE – OFF WORKSHOP
Suitable for Reception up to Year 6. Can be for one group of children or split into 3 groups (Up to 30 children – at least 2 support staff from you school)
Covering street dance basics through short exercises and a short dance. Focuses on rhythm, pace, direction, listening skills, following instructions, formations, special awareness and much more. Each workshop will be tailored to the age range of the children participating.
Half day for one group – Children will learn a full dance and learn different elements of street dance in more detail. For example, children will learn break dance, locking, dance hall and hip-hop moves. These will be incorporated in their dance.
Half day for 3 groups – Children will learn a basic street dance and only cover break dance basics in their session.
HALF DAY WORKSHOPS – 6 WEEKS
Suitable for Reception up to Year 6. Can be for one group of children or split into 3 groups. (Up to 30 children – at least 2 support staff from you school)
Covering street dance basics through short exercises and learning a full dance throughout the 6 weeks. Children will also focus on different styles of street dance and will have a topic of the week.

Half day for one group – Children will learn a full dance with lots of different elements and learn different styles of street dance in more detail. For example, children will learn break dance, locking, dance hall and hip-hop moves. These will be incorporated in their dance. Children will cover performance skills, confidence building exercises, costume design and team building through talks, presentations, activities and games.
Half day for 3 groups – Children will learn a full street dance and learn a topic of the week as stated above.
PLEASE NOTE: Half day sessions can be split up however you see fit. You could have different groups each week should you wish to do so. If you would like to split up your half day 6-week workshops, please contact us and let us know. We can then set up a suitable programme for your school.
